Hello Ilgin,

I had such a good time! I will write to Kenan and thank him again. Last week I went to the British Museum in London to see the Halicarnassus room but just that day it was closed for most of the day so I couldn’t.

The university visit and course went really well and I met lots of colleagues from all over Turkey.

I even managed to go to the dervish show on Sunday in Beyoglu at the Sufi Museum. Oh, and the kofte in the Sultanahmet Kofte place next to the Pudding Shop were the best!

You must take much better care of yourself. I want to find you again when I come back to Turkey(if I get invited by the university:I hope so...). We must go to the beauty parlor together next time. Seriously though- please take better care of yourself..and get well soon.

The cooking course was great!! I really enjoyed meeting Eveline, and Murat, her chef, was really very good. We were sorry you couldn’t be there too. Instead of turkey for Thanksgiving, we will cook Turkish food! In fact I sent two more people there a couple of days later and they loved it too. I also e-mailed Eveline to thank her.

Please do stay in touch! We were both REALLY delighted with all the arrangements you made for us: we felt like VIPS everywhere, we were treated so kindly. No: actually, we felt like your friends! That made it very special.

Your 2 guides were utterly brilliant too- we liked them both, though Kenan is a truly special find.

Again, thank you so much for making our trip such an effortless, rewarding and fun experience!

Dear Sila,

Everyone is back, safe and sound, wiser, satiated and very appreciative of both your magnificent country as a whole, Istanbul and the sacrifices at Gallipoli on both sides. My thanks to you and your team for an excellent package.

We have learned some lessons in the organisation (from our perspective) and hope to repeat the visit next year. Our proposal would be to visit in October, awith a total of 4 days at Gallipoli.

Again, many thanks to you and your team for a magnificent experience. Paul Hutchinson, Member of The British Army in Cyprus

Dear Sila

Again, thanks for taking such good care of us on our recent trip. We enjoyed everything we saw and the guides were all excellent.

Would you please e-mail our itinerary as we want to share it with some friends.

With thanks, Mildred Friedman New York City/The United States

Hi Sila, Date: November 09, 2009

Our guide in Bodrum was the BEST! Loved her and wish we had more time there to explore. Istanbul was great...the hotels both were adequate not glamorous but the location was great! Loved being in the old city. Our two young guides in Istanbul and Cappadocia were the best. Enthusiastic, fun and very willing to discuss! We loved Turkey!!!

Dear Bahar, Date: November 06, 2009

We had a wonderful trip in Turkey on the tour that you put together for us. I think the cave hotel in Cappadocia was our favorite. We were impressed with the quality of Roman (and other) ruins in Turkey in comparison with those in Italy where we have traveled extensively. The guides were terrific and were ready to provide far more information on any subject than we could absorb. We will certainly recommend Credo to friends wanting to tour Turkey.

Thanks again, Norman Stubbs USA

I cannot believe I have not e-mailed you before this. I meant to do it promptly upon our return but have totally forgotten that I had not done so!

We loved, loved, loved Cappadocia! The hotel was wonderful, Faruk was delightful (and so well informed, energetic and fun!), and the sights were beyond my imagination! I was totally captivated by the entire area! We loved Turkey! The people were so nice and the history is staggering. I must say we were stunned by the knowledge of our guides. They were excellent. We have already told you how much we liked Riza, and we felt the same about Faruk. We arrived home safely and have enjoyed the time since reflecting on our great time in your country. Thank you so much for all the planning, the arrangements, everything! Hope you are doing well.
