Hi Ilgin,

It was wonderful to actually meet you in Istanbul after all of our correspondence. We had a wonderful trip!!! Thank you for arranging everything so flawlessly. Every driver was where he was supposed to be when he was supposed to be there, the hotels were great and the boat was fabulous: clean, great food, great crew, and we made friends with a lot of the other passengers-a very nice mix of nationalities. Our favorite was a Turkish guy named Burak, whom we had dinner with when we returned to Istanbul. He and his brother took us out for an Ottoman feast at a restaurant called Bridge on the Asian side overlooking the Bosphorous and the bridge.

I have already recommended your agency to everyone I know who plans to travel to Turkey. Thank you again.

We’ll see you next time we come back, but it won’t be for a few years.

Dear Ilgin,

We thought we should write to thank you for organizing a wonderful tour for us in Turkey. You know better than we what an amazing place it is-even when one can only see a small part of it. But we thought we should thank you in particular for including a couple of the slightly less well-known places that gave us the special thrill of discovery, particularly Aphrodisias and Istanbul Modern with the Fikret Mualla exhibition.

We liked the hotels, but especially Esbelli Evi, with the relaxed atmosphere, almost made us feel like guests in a home. We should also like to commend our guides-very knowledgeable and forthcoming-and our drivers whose contribution to a holiday like this can easily be underrated.

If you would like any more detailed commentary on any aspect of the holiday we are happy to provide it, but once more thank you for all you did.

Hello Sila.

We had a wonderful time in Greece and Italy. However, I thought the time spent in Turkey was the best. Kusadasi was beautiful, Ephesus was of course very interesting, Istanbul was exotic, and Cappadocia was out of this world!

I want you to know how pleased we were with Credo Tours. You did a great job welcoming us and making us feel comfortable and making all the various arrangements for our trip. Everything went smoothly thanks to your attention in detail. Keep up the good work.

All of the personnel involved were wonderful. Our driver in Cappadocia, Selçuk, was warm, helpful, courteous, and flexible. Please tell him that we really enjoyed him and special thanks for driving us to see the Whirling Dervishes. And thanks for the info on Turkish music.

Our guide to Cappadocia, Ali, was great. He was very helpful, fun, organized, flexible, and quite knowledgeable about Cappadocia and Turkish history. He made the past come alive. And we had some great discussions about the past, present and future. I felt like I could have a great conversation with him about just about anything. We left feeling like we had made a new friend. He and Selçuk were very flexible. After Ali got to know us, he was able to suggest some changes to our second day schedule. His suggestions were great-we were very happy.

Our guide in Kusadasi, Vulcan, was also wonderful. Again, he really knew a lot about Ephesus and had a great way of bringing history to life. He was lots of fun and also quite flexible-we asked to go to a different restaurant than the one originally scheduled. The one he suggested was great. And also a special thanks to him for the discussions of music.

Credo Tours is great. I will recommend you highly. We are indeed very happy customers. I feel you are all my friends.

Please note that Susan and I are not wealthy. This trip was very expensive for us. I wish we could have afforded to tip your personnel more-each of them deserved it for doing such a great job.

Thanks again for everything. Joseph Graham Philedelphia/The United States of America

Hi Sila, Date: November 09, 2009

Our guide in Bodrum was the BEST! Loved her and wish we had more time there to explore. Istanbul was great...the hotels both were adequate not glamorous but the location was great! Loved being in the old city. Our two young guides in Istanbul and Cappadocia were the best. Enthusiastic, fun and very willing to discuss! We loved Turkey!!!

Dear Bahar, Date: November 06, 2009

We had a wonderful trip in Turkey on the tour that you put together for us. I think the cave hotel in Cappadocia was our favorite. We were impressed with the quality of Roman (and other) ruins in Turkey in comparison with those in Italy where we have traveled extensively. The guides were terrific and were ready to provide far more information on any subject than we could absorb. We will certainly recommend Credo to friends wanting to tour Turkey.

Thanks again, Norman Stubbs USA

I cannot believe I have not e-mailed you before this. I meant to do it promptly upon our return but have totally forgotten that I had not done so!

We loved, loved, loved Cappadocia! The hotel was wonderful, Faruk was delightful (and so well informed, energetic and fun!), and the sights were beyond my imagination! I was totally captivated by the entire area! We loved Turkey! The people were so nice and the history is staggering. I must say we were stunned by the knowledge of our guides. They were excellent. We have already told you how much we liked Riza, and we felt the same about Faruk. We arrived home safely and have enjoyed the time since reflecting on our great time in your country. Thank you so much for all the planning, the arrangements, everything! Hope you are doing well.
