Dearest Bahar,

I want to let you know that Teddy and I have arrived safely in Jakarta, Indonesia (at 34 degrees celsius, what a comparison to the weather in Istanbul) with wonderful memories of Turkey. Both of us have marvelous time during our visit in Turkey, be it at Istanbul, the Cappadocia region, Bursa and Iznik. One thing that crossed our minds is that our experiences would not happen without your assistance in preparing the suggested itineraries, accommodations and places to see. One thing for sure, we were so enthralled by our experiences in Turkey that we are considering for another visit. Not this year or next year, but hopefully in the near future, and you know what, we have to thank you for that.

In the event you consider visiting Indonesia, please let us know. Teddy and I will be happy to make suggestions for you (of course, we are not professionals like you, but, hey, we will try).

Cheers, Rusmaini Lenggogeni, Indonesia

Dear Sila,

I apologize for my tardiness in sending you this note. My family and I want to thank you for planning such a wonderful trip for us in Istanbul and Capadoccia. Everything was marvelous! We enjoyed our guides, our hotels, balloon ride, tours--all of it. We appreciate all your efforts and look forward to dealing with you again on any future trip to Turkey.

We wish you a very happy holiday season, and hope that 2009 will be a year of good health, great happiness, peace and prosperity for you and all whom you hold dear.

Best regards, Phyllis Katzin, San Francisco, USA

Sirma,

Our ten year old son, Davey, came back from a school field trip to Mount Vernon yesterday. Mount Vernon is George Washington's home, located on the Potomac River. It was built at the end of the 18th century. Davey described to us how the tour guide was showing his group some decorative tiles or art of some type on the ceilings of the house and saying how remarkable they were Davey then added his own impressions: "just think what they would say if that they saw what the Romans and Turks did."

Isabel then told us how she was able to identify Istanbul on the map on her World Studies test.Emily told us that she thought it was our best trip ever (and we have been lots of places).

Showing our kids the world and places that are at once very different but very much the same as our cities and their people (and having fun doing it) is what we set out to do with our travels.

Please thank Kenan for his hard work and good cheer.

Hi Sila, Date: November 09, 2009

Our guide in Bodrum was the BEST! Loved her and wish we had more time there to explore. Istanbul was great...the hotels both were adequate not glamorous but the location was great! Loved being in the old city. Our two young guides in Istanbul and Cappadocia were the best. Enthusiastic, fun and very willing to discuss! We loved Turkey!!!

Dear Bahar, Date: November 06, 2009

We had a wonderful trip in Turkey on the tour that you put together for us. I think the cave hotel in Cappadocia was our favorite. We were impressed with the quality of Roman (and other) ruins in Turkey in comparison with those in Italy where we have traveled extensively. The guides were terrific and were ready to provide far more information on any subject than we could absorb. We will certainly recommend Credo to friends wanting to tour Turkey.

Thanks again, Norman Stubbs USA

I cannot believe I have not e-mailed you before this. I meant to do it promptly upon our return but have totally forgotten that I had not done so!

We loved, loved, loved Cappadocia! The hotel was wonderful, Faruk was delightful (and so well informed, energetic and fun!), and the sights were beyond my imagination! I was totally captivated by the entire area! We loved Turkey! The people were so nice and the history is staggering. I must say we were stunned by the knowledge of our guides. They were excellent. We have already told you how much we liked Riza, and we felt the same about Faruk. We arrived home safely and have enjoyed the time since reflecting on our great time in your country. Thank you so much for all the planning, the arrangements, everything! Hope you are doing well.

Love, Lince Mullis USA
